Acidcore

Acidcore is a genre of electronic music, derived from acid techno, gabber, and darkcore, that emerged in the mid-1990s.

Acidcore is characterized by a typical acid tone and a short, distorted kick, accompanied by a sustained and fast beat (from around 155 to 170 BPM). Looped breakbeats sometimes accompany the kick. The screeching high tones are characteristic of acid techno.
